Tosen Ares moves up to a graded race after finally winning at the 1600 level. All but one of his five wins came here at Nakayama. If he can hit the start( unlike the last time Shibata rode him) this 12-1 horse could figure here.
Hanshin 7th Race...#12 American Diner Beaten favorite last time out at 2.5 , now getting close to 8.0. I'll give him another shot here at 1800m

Nakayama 11 Race #9 Deep Brillante The surface for tomorrow really looks to favor this horse. Could win by a country mile if allowed to run at " My Pace" and sit off the leader(s).
The beautiful and the talented are playing in a race day double feature.
Nakayama 7th Spielberg is taking a huge drop in class. The odds pool will be around 1.8. Archive, though not placing in his last three outings, could also figure here which would make the payout much more generous.

Nakayama 9th..#7 Crawford.. 3rd favorite in similar conditions in January but missed the start and ran unmotivated. Let's see if she can do better this time around.

Hanshin 6th race #5 Carnavalet....She had a good run in Kokura last time out but still only the 3rd choice here ,in a very small field?. Possibly getting at least 5-1
Gold Ship, a horse not running in the Yayoi nevertheless sets an applicable barometer for the eventual winner. Coming out of the Radio Tampa Hai back in December, Gold ran to a two length victory in The Kyodo News Hai his following race. Now we have two more challengers coming out of the Tampa, race favorite Trip and the winner Adams Peak. Both looks to figure here! The race itself sets up nicely for a stretch runner as at least six horses can viably challenge for the lead. I'm gonna play them both and privately will make this my first Blue Ribbon ( a single wager of over ¥150,000) bet of the year.
The Ocean Stakes seems to be a wide open affair with the favorite hovering around 4.o. I'm going to box six horses with Shin Vertigo getting an extra amount of love because of her consistent credibility at 1200m. The Tulip Sho out in Hanshin breaks down to a three horse race. Joie de Vivre is the dominate favorite, but I'm not so sure the other two are that far behind her?
