Sprinters Stakes

Nakayama 11Race

# 5 BB Guldan

Like the fact that he is getting some odds this time around against two potential horses that are not getting enough.

#5 with 6,14..¥3000 Quinellas ( savers)
#5 with 1,2,8,9,11,12 ¥1000 Each way Exactas

There are so many playable tickets here and you can make an strategy come sunday...basicaly
1) odds on favorite at first time track(Bird) no thanks
2) potential quality horse but after lay off( maybe but no thanks)
..tough all away around..even #9 can make a case here

Yeah, a million ways to play it. Earlier in the week I was thinking BB Guldan but his gate kinda concerns me. He's a horse that actually seems to need an outside gate. Ando is going to have to nail the start. But I'll definitely buy 5-14. Will also buy 9-14, 6-14 and (somewhat reluctantly) 8-14. Then I'll try some longshot fun with 9 & 14 in triples with 3, 5, 6 and 15. Tough race but it should get the heart racing...

Oh, congrats on winning both races today. Hope you bet heavy on the winners.

Sean, not really at all! Unfortunately the favorites came in ahead of them so basically got my money back..I like to bet more heavily( especially if my selection is one of the favorites) on the mid price fliers hoping for a price..but no such luck today( personally)..the blog had a slight profit..but nothing of note...hopefully a good payout will come eventually ..good luck tomorrow..u cant go wrong with 14..because he was scratched in his previous race ur getting the best of his odds/ and the layoff factor

I love the odds (and form)of 14=9! I think I'm gonna buy some tickets based on your boys' suggestions. :)

On to the NFL... I am strongly looking at taking Carolina with two TDs if it gets there (13.5 now), Buffalo +6, Jax +7.5 (love those home pups)and Wash +6. These are not my final plays, but very strong leans.

GL guys!

PS Not sure if you read this on the other thread or not, but congrats on the little one, Sean.

Thanks Robert. It's a boy. He's certainly changing the rhythm of my life but it's all good...

I think 9-14 is a good pick but it all depends on which Laurel Guerreiro shows up, the one who captured 2 G1s at this distance last year or the one who's failed to find the winner's circle this year. Most punters seem to think it'll be the latter so we're getting good value. Risky for sure but if LG is back in form he can use his early speed on this track to good advantage. On this fast track he could clock in at 1.07.0, and it would be almost next to impossible for anyone to run him down. All depends on his condition though. Good luck.

I'm betting 9=14 and 5=14 for 1000 yen each (4 bets). GL

Throwing in 5=9 just in case. :)
Sean, hopefully this race lasts 1:07 with either 5 or 14 following right behind. :)

The overlooked Hong Kong horse did just what we hoped Laurel Guerreiro would. Fujita seemed to be on board with our program but LG ran out of gas disappointingly early. I watched the winning horse on YouTube but I didn't see anything that special. Oh well...

And from the 'lessons never learned department': I could've broken even if I had bought gates (4-7) instead of the 8-14 umaren. It's worth sacrificing a few points (in this case 3) to get the extra insurance but I always forget about that.

This is one of the few open races that foreign horses do well just thought that would be Birdie.
0 for 1 in the g1 department to start the autumn campaign. Even if i had boxed 8 horses i wouldnt have included 7 anyways but it would of been quite the start with the price. I always regret when I fail to tout a foreign horse though since i get alot of inquires about them( they( japanese punters) thinking i have deeper knowledge about them..I got about 30 emails asking me about the Japanese chances tonight in france but i couldnt really say..im not betting it but i do think pisa has a better chance than Fiesta..Robert..I just got 1 play tomoorow..seattle/st.louis over 38. New orleans did look weak last week so i can understand u taking 14 points but the panthers have to find a QB first before i bet on them
