March 6th

Yayoi-sho

Nakayama 11 Race

#9 Target Machine.... It's been awhile since trainer Munakata has had a potential G1 horse. Tanaka is already set on Fateful War but he has a very good chance to make it 3 in a row on this Deep Impact horse.

The Wager:
#9 with 5,6,11 ¥10,000 Quinella
#9 with 5,6,11 ¥10,000 Wide

Total ¥60,000

What a brutal pick that was. The horse wasn't even competetive...

Keith, my email address is rjsheridan@hotmail.com. Let me know your banking details and I will wire you the money right when I get back on March 8. Thank you again for placing the bet for me. :)

Keith, that's a pretty big bet for what I think is a pretty tough race. Target Machine has looked impressive in his first two starts but there are some strong horses in this race. I think he's a little overvalued. And even if he wins here I figure I can get the same odds on him in the Satsuki-sho. So I'm gonna try a 6,7, 11 box, 2000 yen each way exactas. But 5 & 9 are definitely scary so I'll add them into the mix in trio formations: 5-6-7, 5-6-11, 5-7-11, 6-7-9, 6-9-11, 7-9-11 also 2000 yen each. Good luck.

Robert, ok, anytime..there is no rush..Sean, there is a lot I like historical wise here...deep impact winning this race 6 years ago( like father like son?) an undefeated horse thats already won at nakayama..and trainer Munakata. I eliminated Pray, debonior because they seemed to have already came up short running their best. Target will peobably get better odds in the satsuki for sure but Fateful War looks to tough to beat regardless. Good luck
