Alfredo Is This Weekends Main Dish

December 18th

Nakayama 11 Race...#3 ALFREDO Coming off a Grade 1 victory last week in Hong Kong and a superb ride on Jorden in the Japan Cup, Craig Williams looks to continue the hot streak and serve up another delicacy on Alfredo. The heaviest horse in the field of sixteen is still brilliantly fleet of foot witnessed by a 33.2 stretch run last time out. Two for two at the distance ,this horse has a real chance to continue his run at being undefeated and MIGHT not even be the favorite come post time. A good value on a horse that encompasses all handicapping merit.

The Wager: #3 with 1,4,6,7,15,16 ¥3000 Each-Way Exacta
3 & 1,4,6,7,15,& 16 ¥1000 Straight Trifectas
1,4,6,7,15, & 3 &16 ¥1000 Straight Trifectas

December 17th

Nakayama 12th Race

#13 Omega Blue Hawaii... Running well as of late but getting 6.4 because of his inefficiencies at 1600 M ( 0-5). The first time at the course in his 15 race career might prove to his liking.

#13 with 2,4,6,8,10 ¥1000 Each-Way Exactas
#13 with 2,4,6,8,10 ¥1000 WIDE tickets

Hanshin 11th Race

#12 Smile Jack..One of my favorites here. Wont spread him around but at 15-1 I wont need to.
Granted not much as of late but is always capable.

The Wager: #12 with 1,11,16,18 ¥1000 Each Way Exactas
¥1000 WIDE ticket

10th Race ( Hanshin)

#3 Liberty Valance..Very good dirt numbers and has been very consistent all year. Second outing in the higher class but his effort for 3rd in the last outing is good enough here for a higher spot.

#3 with 2,6,9,13,14 ¥1000 Each Way Exacta

* I'll play around with Shonan Alba in tomorrows main, also on Sunday in the 8th in Nakayama, Crawford, could be an intriguing choice.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

UPDATE* Will post Crawford as a blog post

Nakayama 8th...# 3 This Sunday Racing fillie won her last race quite impressively I felt. Going up in class but not getting much attention at 13-1. I like her chances here.
The Wager #3 with 4,8,11,13,16 ¥1000 Each Way Exacta
¥1000 WIDE Tickets

Looks like another wide open affair but you sold me with that last line: 'A good value on a horse that encompasses all handicapping merit.'

I'll shadow your bets on Alfredo with one exception - I'm keying 4 rather than 15 to finish third.

Galaxy Stakes in Hanshin looks eminently winnable - will go 1 & 6 with 4, 10 and 12 in trios and a 1, 6, 12 exacta box.

Keith, what's the word for next week? Party on? (Did you get my message?)

Hey Sean, yeah I got ur message but was trying to nail down a plan before I replied. Christmas falling on Arima day has alot of my gambling friends already tied up but the hard cases just as myself will probably still go. Ill give you a definite answer very soon. The Galaxy is a go for me too. I cant remember a main open race when there was only one colt # 1 Wiki running against all females. Could be a very advantageous race for him being on the Hanshin rail and only the 55. Good luck today

Nice hit my man! I hit it pretty good but not nearly as good as you... :)

Keith! You hit the sweet spot! I didn't do badly at all myself. Backed off on the trifectas but nailed the trio and exacta for over 2 yards.
What a rollercoaster of a weekend it's been for me. Was going to buy San Carlo and Grand Prix Boss in Saturday's G2 for what would've been my biggest win of the year but got so wrecked on Friday I couldn't drag myself to WINS. I was almost in tears when that 120-1 shot came in. But I'm flying now!
Let's have a champagne finale next week!

Finally a decent win, I'm close for showing a profit for a blog again this season. Ill crunch the numbers later. If 4 would have came in 1st and then Alfredo then WOW!!, but i cant think like that. all is good. Impressive showing...the next 2yr old test this Saturday.
