April 3rd Osaka Hai

HANSHIN 11 RACE

#8 HIRUNO

I think Hiruno is getting the best of everything in this race, including but not least the high weight on his two possible contenders for the winning circle. Chantilly and Flash are getting the extra kilos because of their G1 victories of LAST YEAR. This year , Amour is rounding into form, and with a fast track in all likelihood will be there.

The Wager: # 8 with 2,5 ¥5000 Each-Way Exacta
The Wager: # 8 with 7,10,15 ¥5000 Quinellas

Keith, you are going to win today. Every time you have ended up with the exact same picks as Tama-chan from Yahoo (I'm pretty sure this is the 4th time), the both of you have won. :)

If it rains, I will be backing Captain Thule. He seems to love Hanshin and thrives in the rain...

Ok, I will stop posting now, I promise! :) I am boxing 2,5&8 and that's it!

On a regular basis how does he/she do?

He is actually quite good overall. He is particularly good at picking medium/long odds winners. His write-ups are pretty informative and great Japanese practice. :) http://keiba.yahoo.co.jp/race/predict/1109020411/

BTW, I like 1,5, 9 & 11 in the 12R...

I like Hiruno but Fujita has to time his move right. Right now I'm thinking about boxing 7,8, 14 and 15. Tricky race. Lots of big names but all of them have a habit of underperforming. Captain Thule might just be the best bet. Just thinking out loud here...Good luck guys!

Had 10,000 on 8-15 and another couple on 8-10-15 but 13 busted up my ticket. I guess he did for you too. There really wasn't any way of knowing he could run at that level. Can't feel too bad because the forecast was solid. 'Shouganai' as they say.

Yeah, Me too. These kinds of losses dont bother me all that much because I wouldnt have boxed or done anything with 13. Yesterdays 7th in hanshin bites me more when I expect a long shot but never have a chance because of traffic.

With Reve not running in the 桜花賞、it looks like the odds might be a little tasty and my key horse for the race will definitely be Whale Capture. I think Grand Prix Boss will also romp in the NZ cup on Saturday. We should be able to make some pretty decent money off those 2 horses this weekend. :)
