A Table Set For YOYO

The early speed breaking from the outside gates, hurrying to battle a clean starting Silport, will most likely prove a insurmountable disadvantage for all concern, as the pace breaks and the stretch runners turn it on.

#13 Craig Williams has had some impressive stretch runs this Tokyo meet and I'm wagering the run he wanted with Tosen Reve last week, he will get this weekend with DANON YOYO

#8 Yes, the schedule is tight with two G1 races in a span of three weeks but I'm trusting trainer Kunieda knows the limitations of his prized girl and I'm not going to layoff any horse that can beat Buenna, regardless of the short interval. APAPANE

#3 One of my favorites here in a desirable spot. The odds will be above 10, and mid-pace style of running that jockey Miura favors with him could be the play, especially if his positioning holds and the pace doesn't. SMILE JACK

The Wager: 3-13, 8-13, ¥5000 Each-Way Exacta ( 3-8, ¥ 3000 Each -Way Exacta
1-3, 3-4, 3-5, 3-9, 1-13, 4-13, 5-13, 9-13 ¥1000 Each- Way Exacta

Wow! Smile Jack is getting a lot of love. He is the second favorite at 5.5-1 right now. Apapane at 2-1? Really??! In terms of value Jo, Yoyo, Real Impact, Thumbs up and Strong Returns look tasty right now. How to play this one??

That is a tad too low. I was hoping Jack would get at least 10. The track should be running fair tomorrow and he"s got a good draw so I can kinda understand the action. Im gonna eliminate all early speed and stay with yoyo and the inside draw horses. 1,3,4,5....Having second thoughts on 9 ?

Hey robert if you dont mind if I can play around with that 10 tomorrow.I'll play it like this:
Straight Exactas..13-1, 13-3,13-4, 13-5, 13-8, all ¥1000....and Quinellas with the same: 1-13, 3-13,4-13,5-13,8-13, ¥1000 Total 10,000, thanks

Done and done! I'm boxing 3,8,13,14,16 hoping for the big score and then I'm keying 13 with the horses mentioned above and 1&6 in trios. GL!

1 and 13, 3000 yen each way exactas.
1 and 3, 2000 yen each way exactas.
1-3-13, 3000 yen trio.
Those are my main picks but I also have 1 with 6, 8 and 16 in 1000 each way exactas.
And finally I've keyed 13 in 9 trios with 1, 3, 6, 8 and 16, 1000 yen each.
I really think Apapane is vulnerable here. She's a delicate horse coming off a gruelling run just a few weeks ago. Might not have her top form tomorrow and even if she does she's certainly not unbeatable. Not much value with her - I say look elsewhere.

I totally agree with you Sean about Apapane. Tomorrow should be interesting for sure. :)

Morning Gentlemen,

Looking forward to an exciting race if nothing else. I agree with Sean about Apapane, especially because of the crap odds. However, I still have a hard time believing Apapane won't at least place.

I'm looking to do a 6 horse trio box of 1,3,6,8,13,16 and hoping that the least likely outcome happens. Still debating what to do about silport...

On a side note, is anyone physically going to the race? I'll be there with a group of my idiot friends in 1920's dress (big hats for the ladies, and ascot ties and vests for gents) If you spot us say hi.

Who are you liking for jocks so far this year? How is that determined? Money, right? Iwata & Fukunaga are racking up wins, but what about Ikezoe? He has 5 top 3 finishes in 7 GI races. That's gotta be something.
Box Trifecta 1,2,8,13,14 and Box Wide 2,7,13,16.

That really hurt...

Foiled by the 3 y/o! The high schooler...I should've taken him seriously I guess. That one did really hurt cuz so many things went according to plan and still the goose.

There was alot of dancing around the numbers. Craig without jack, thats a bummer. Could have boxed 8 horses for 28 tickets and got a good return but still not convinced I still would have included 14 or not.

Too bad Jack could not have nipped Strong Returns at the line or I would have keyed another horse in my trios. So close yet so far away...

lol! Just checked out Tama-chan's picks and he hit the exacta on a ¥12,000 bet...

Fudge!

My buddy got 3-14 wide for 1,000 yen. It was his first time at the tracks and he said "The name real impact sounded cool"

Bastard.
