Odds & Ends

The 5th race in Nakayama has a strong trainer/jockey angle on #13 Block Chord

The 7th race in Nakayama has one of the strongest favorite plays on #2 Liberty Valance @ 2.3

The 7th race in Kokura has an interesting surface/jockey switch on a Sunday Racing Co horse at 15-1....#13 Crawford

Sean, I read Sumi's comments on Rulership but he didn't say anything about his next race. Gallop Magazine had him nominated to run in the Alima along with 26 other horses but not sure if he'll make the cut of 18 or not..I'll let you know if I find out anything more definitive.

Thanks. I think he might be headed there...Hey, do you know any way to get quinella and exacta odds for the races in Hong Kong this weekend? I can only find 'win' odds online. I'm thinking I might wanna bet on Snow Fairy in the Hong Kong Cup but would like to see the odds on a Snow Fairy- Vision d'Etat and Snow Fairy - Collection etc. quinellas.

I use www.bet365.com and http://www.paddypower.com/bet...now they only offer win and each way future tickets which you can " lock in" a price. But both will have a "live racing card" for the Hong kong races that you can buy quinellas and trios before each race. I dont think you can " lock in" a price on such tickets in advance of these races though

Just sent an email to a friend requesting a site or printout of the quinella and trio odds...once i get a reply ill send them off to you

I love your Gestalt wager. I copies it but ended up buying 2 too. GL!

I think I might buy a little Snowy Fairy too. It's 7/2 right now at bet365.

hey robert, yeah I cant recall a more consistent group of 3 year olds than this year from top to bottom..previous years have been somewhat top heavy but if you look back at this years derby contenders and non contenders they all have been running well...probably cant get the hong kong odds until tomorrow. Looking at Joshua Tree and Winchester for some wagers...still noncommittal with Jaugar mail

Wish Moore was riding Jaguar Mail, but in this field I think he definitely has a chance. I like Saphresa in the Mile too but if I bet it'll probably on the Hong Kong Cup. Anyways, it's gonna be a great day of racing.

Question concerning Paddy Power or bet365: I registered my address for my bank account and credit card in Japanese. Would that be a problem? Because the Paddy Power site said to be sure that the address was exactly the same.

This is the reply I got from friend in Hong Kong. I'm trying to remember how I started my accounts..I too used my japanese credit cards to deposit money and listed my address here in Japan. I had problems with Paddy Power at first because they couldnt transfer my winnings to my Citi-bank account. Then they sent me a cashiers check in dollars which was very troublesome to cash. I switched to Shinsei back and opened an all currency account and now have bank transfers sent to this account..bet365 has an option to bet in japanese yen and then transfer the money back on to your crdit card

Gestalt came up a little short...
What do you think of the 6 horse, Meine Isabel, in the Juvinelle tomorrow? Seems like everyone is on Reve d'Essor, Dance Fantasia or Adventura.
