Tenno Sho

#5 Buena Vista Always sharp and needless to say one very consistent race horse. The competition is formidable but I'm wagering Pelusa and Dash will fall short as usual while eying a better result in the Japan Cup and Earnesty really got a disadvantage being slotted on the far gate. Kingdom has a jockey that I'm not very familiar with and thus somewhat hesitant to rate him higher than I normally would.

The Wager : 5 & 1,2,7,10 & 4,7,8,11 ¥1000 Straight Trifecta
5 with 1,2,7,10 ¥1000 Each-Way Exacta

Like I was saying in the other thread, I think that there is a ton of value betting Meisho and Glory. I have never been lucky betting trifectas so I think I am just going to bet 5 with 10 and 17 in each-way exactas for 1000 yen each and wides for 5000 each. GL!

Hey robert, you do well with Meisho . I remember you had a nice win with her last year. Sean likes Dark Shadow so it seems to be a consensus that Vista will come in but not with any of the big boys Rose, pelusa, etc..Ideally it would be great if Vista wins and then all the hype surrounding her vs Danadream in the Japan Cup could open up a lot of value elsewhere GL

Hey Guys, I've been getting hosed by betting formations over the past couple of weeks. I keep keying the wrong horse.

For this race I was thinking of keeping it simple and betting place show for 1, 7, 10 heavy on Shadow. A part of me also just wants to go all in on Buena to win but who knows? You are right Keith, that is one consistent horse.

Wow! Was that ever a blistering pace and a little bit of a shocker. I really hope Meisho is all right. They didn't show any replays so I'm hoping she didn't pull up lame... I highly doubt we'll see Iwata on Buena for the next races. Anyone want to bet me ichiman on that? lol

Beerman, I hope you went heavy on 7 to show.

Buena had the race won and she looked comfortable doing it. Iwata again? no bet here robert lol but if he does can you imagine the pressure!! Pelusa had the pace but still managed only 3rd but was driving. He'll get a lot of backing for the Cup because of this performance but even with the added distance that pace will have to re appear one more time.

Not nearly enough to make it worth my while. At least I didn't lose money this time. Not too many happy faces at the wins lol.
